Malone Architecture

Project Requirements:

Logo graphics, branding colours, content for social, web design & development & a look book.

 

Project Brief :

In collaboration with the Business Clan team to develop a new logo to represent Malone Architecture – a Wimbledon based architect practise with a great portfolio of highly creative work. The logo and branding needed to reflect the clients high level of craftsmanship and creativity and yet show a down to earth and practical approach. To design a new website to showcase the work of the architect  and tell the brand story.

 

The Result:

For inspiration I looked to the Bauhaus movement,  the school became famous for its approach to design, which attempted to unify the principles of mass production with individual artistic vision and strove to combine aesthetics with everyday function. The result was a branding with connotations to craft. Combining the letter M and A in a visually pleasing way that also together is a strong form much like a building silhouette.

 

The website not only showcases the great work of the architect but also pays tribute to his creativity and craftsman ship with the incorporations of sketches, bright colours and other graphics. Custom graphic illustrations are added for more personality.
